Biography
About Dr. Burlingame
Dr. Burlingame grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, spending as much time outdoors as possible. While earning his BA in Biology with honors from the University of Utah, he met his wife Cassie, an Idaho native.
After graduation, his educational journey took them east to New York City, where he earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry, ranking in the top 5% of his class and earning induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society. During dental school he developed a passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery and continued his training at NYU Langone Health, Bellevue Hospital Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Manhattan VA, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He earned both his medical degree and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery certificate from NYU, then moved back out west to live the outdoor lifestyle he and his wife love.
Dr. Burlingame is trained in administering conscious sedation, IV sedation, and general anesthesia for both adult and pediatric patients, and holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is an active member of several local and national dental, medical, and surgical associations.

Outside the Office
Home is Northern California
Dr. Burlingame and his wife Cassie moved back out west for exactly what Redding offers: mountains, rivers, and room to roam. Together with their two young children and their dog Ruth, they spend their free time camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and boating.
Dr. Burlingame’s commitment to care is rooted in the place he calls home. In the North State, his patients are also his neighbors, and that connection shapes the way he practices.
